Hardware Lab already ships in the free IDE. The 3D world is a separate plugin coming to Pro and Teams Pro — not a rewrite of the 2D Bench you use now. Hardware Lab Phase F (3D) is not started.

Hardware Lab — free 2D Bench

Virtual HIL on a virtual clock: timeline scenarios, assertions, pass/fail, then Run on Device over SSH and diff sim vs bench.

  • Bench A–E — 2D pinout/board views with virtual parts, wires, and a live pin mirror. Not 3D CAD. Phase F (3D) is not started.
  • 33-board library — Raspberry Pi, Jetson, Arduino, Espressif ESP32/ESP8266, Simulation, Generic Linux GPIO.
  • Record real physical inputs and replay them at the desk.
  • AI Scenario / AI Fix stay on the Pro AI suite.

3D world plugin

A 3D world plugin for Hardware Lab and the AI Agent Hierarchy builder is coming to Pro and Teams Pro.

  • AI Circuit City — a 3D city of the hierarchy: replay a run, live-link a Save, edit in the room, narrated tours, friends.
  • Hardware Bench in 3D — a 3D bench beside the 2D Bench A–E that already ships in Free.
  • Controller, a phone interface, and VR (walk / teleport) are in the plugin. Headset and phone passes are still open — this is not a Quest-ready claim.
  • An agent that plays the city (fix a planted fault, build, explore, run a bench scenario).
  • The plugin is a separate process. Nothing of it is imported into AidaIDE. No install path, price, or download on this page.

AI Circuit City

Replay a real run in the city. Save shows up live. Run lights the buildings. Personas on agent cards. One renderer for desktop, a bare walk page, and a phone WebView.

Hardware Bench in 3D

A 3D hardware bench in the same plugin. The free Hardware Lab Bench stays 2D A–E. Phase F in the Lab is not started.

Controller, phone, VR

A pad-first city deck, a phone-only shell (not a reflow of the desktop UI), and VR walk / teleport with an Inspect card. Real Quest and real-phone passes are still open.

AidaBot — an agent that plays the city

Joins the room like a person. Four skills: fix a planted fault, build toward a goal, explore, run a bench scenario. The server or the board grades the work — not the bot.

No. /latest.json still serves 1.0.0-rc15. Create a free account to download that signed Windows installer.

Does Hardware Lab become 3D CAD?

No. Bench today is a 2D pinout (layouts A–E). Phase F (3D) is not started. A separate 3D world plugin is coming to Pro and Teams Pro. It does not replace the free 2D Bench.

Who gets the 3D world plugin?

It is coming to Pro and Teams Pro. Hardware Lab itself stays in Free forever. There is no plugin price on this page.

Can I buy or install it today?

Not yet. There is no Buy or Install control here. This page will say so when a purchase actually installs the plugin.
