AidaIDE v0.5.77 — Release Notes
Security suite
- Credentials encrypted at rest: database-connection passwords now go through the vault, and settings export / web APIs no longer expose plaintext passwords.
- Connection save gate: saving a connection no longer silently stores an SSH password in plaintext when the vault is locked.
- Web login hardening: salted PBKDF2 password hashing with lazy per-user upgrade.
- Real certificate tooling: PKI Manager is now backed by a real CA, plus a new read-only Device Security Posture tab.
- Safer vault reset: config is backed up first, with honest warnings about what a reset affects.
Command packs (LCOT)
- Shareable command packs: bundle safe-command sets as
.lcotpackfiles — sha256-sealed, linted on import, never weaker than the risk lens, never auto-executed. - Typed-confirm gates on catastrophic commands, plus honesty fixes across the command corpus and new WireGuard, FRRouting, and Tailscale coverage.
Terminal & editor
- Multi-line paste confirmation on desktop and web — no more accidentally firing 40 pasted lines into a production shell.
- Live font zoom with PTY reflow and a shell switcher in the terminal dock (desktop and web).
- Connection honesty: clear banners when a session dies; the web terminal pauses input on reconnect instead of replaying it into the live shell.
- Editor code-intelligence improvements: completions, diagnostics, and navigation.
Also in this release
- Remote Desktop improvements for PC and mobile sessions.
- Settings modernization wave 2.
- AI Command Center and workspace-layout phases continued.
